I had a little fun playing with this image a week or so ago. It's really easy to do:

1. I opened the image and applied the cut out filter.

2. Used the pen tool to create a mask to effectively delete the background.

3. Found a free background image and changed the colours.

4. Added and distorted some text.

5. Added a paper texture layer, set blending mode to soft light and reduced opacity.

Bish. Bash. Bosh. Love it.

Keeping up with the Doris related posts, the next few will be from some of our trips last summer. This one was during our weekend at Blair Atholl - such a beautiful place. We went for a shot walk and came across these horses gathering under a big old tree. Nice.

Poor Doris has been taking cover in a friend's underground car park - lifeless and all alone. Here's hoping that we get some sunny weather this spring/summer and she can get a lot of good exercise!

This was taken at the end of last summer when we had a quick stop at the side of the road to admire the view - it's somewhere in between Edinburgh and Skye, if that narrows it down at all...
