I've started the long process of going through my shots from our 6 day trip to New York a couple of weeks ago. I ended up taking over 3,300 shots, which works out at over 500 a day. The strange thing is that I felt like I took hardly any shots this year compared to last year. Anyway, enough chat, onto the pictures.
These were pretty much the first pictures of the trip I took. With our now customary first stop at Times Square (our hotel was just a hundred metres or so away) we were greeted by the sight of hundreds of young girls in red jackets. We later found out that they were cheerleaders taking part in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I thought at the time that I would do a selective colour shot to highlight the jackets, the red steps and the billboards but looking at them on the computer at home thought that a cheeky triptych would look nice.
I was pretty pleased with how this one came out, would love to hear what you think of it...
