That's a remarkably still puddle to get that clear a shot.
How close to the puddle were you and how strange did it look to those passing by?! Neil on Friday 6 November 2009 @ 04:05pm
Great puddle shot! Those are not easy to pull off (at least I've never had success). I'd be interested to hear your approach if you don't mind. Jed on Friday 6 November 2009 @ 07:02pm

Wow, great capture. Ben on Wednesday 11 November 2009 @ 12:50am
Thanks, guys.
Neil: I zoomed in (shot at 48mm) so didn't have to get too close to the puddle. I normally look strange to those passing by, so I wouldn't have looked any different :)
Jed: There wasn't really anything special to my approach on this shot. It was the same as all of my shots - I saw something I liked the look of and so photographed it! I guess it's perhaps for that reason that it works - I wasn't looking to take a "puddle shot" but when I saw the reflection it really stood out. John on Thursday 12 November 2009 @ 11:46am
I didn't work out it was a puddle until I read the caption. Great interpretation of what is obviously a well-photographed building mark / one way photo on Thursday 12 November 2009 @ 02:48pm
Great shot, the perspective makes for a very interesting shot. Adam on Sunday 15 November 2009 @ 07:29pm
Great stuff. I love a good upside down puddle shot and this does it so well. Love your work. Commercial Photographer on Wednesday 25 November 2009 @ 02:12pm
