This one is a little misleading because it wasn't taken on 5 November - instead it was taken on the last night of the Edinburgh fringe. Each year there is a big fireworks display at the castle with an orchestra playing accompanying music in the bandstand in Princes St gardens. This year, because of the tram works that are going on, Princes Street - which is where the majority of the public go to watch the fireworks - was closed. My usual spot is at the top of Calton Hill, which is where this was taken. We didn't quite appreciate how busy it was going to be but it was absolutely heaving!
I actually only ended up taking a few shots, but was relatively pleased with this one...
